Police Searching For Sedan Used By Hit-Run Driver Who Killed Woman In Maryland

Police in Prince George's County are on the lookout for a vehicle and driver involved in a fatal crash in Landover overnight.

A hit-and-run driver is at large following a fatal pedestrian crash that was reported at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14 in the area of Martin Luther King Jr. Highway and Bell Haven Drive, officials say.

According to the Prince George's County Police Department, officers found a woman in the roadway upon their arrival, suffering from traumatic injuries.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Now, investigators are seeking the public's assistance in locating a four-door gray or silver sedan with front-end damage that is believed to be involved in the fatal crash.

The department has not identified the woman killed in the hit-and-run, which remains under investigation.
